Bristol Scuba Club formed back in 1993 with only 8 members, this year there are 40 active members. The club is made up from people with different diving qualifications - PADI, BSAC, NAUI, SSI, etc... We are not about who is the best diving organisation, but how to have fun whilst being safe divers. We meet at the swimming pool at Kingswood Leisure Centre, Bristol on Friday nights (9-10pm), at various dive sites along the Dorset and Devon coasts on a weekend, and other dive sites in the UK and the rest of world whenever we can.

Plymouth Diving 28 & 29 June 2008
Superb dives on HMS Scylla, James Eagan Layne, and the harbour fort. We even saw dolphins of the prow of Ernie's boat. Wildlife included everything from John Dory's to conger eels, and a carpet of corals on the stern of HMS Scylla.
Pembroke Diving 2-3 August 2008
We have 11 divers signed up now, one place available if you are interested. The money must be paid upfront. We need at least 10 people at £45.00 per day's diving (2 dives). We get to decide where we want to go, weather permitting. Programme is likely to be Skomer and Skokholm islands, with a possibility of The Smalls.
For those of you going, there is camping available locally at Shipping Farm, Honeyborough, Milford Haven, Dyfed SA73 1JE, Tel: 01646 600286 (Camping & Caravan site); or B & B at the Ferry House Inn, Neyland, Tel. 01646 600270. A couple of divers have also booked in at Masterland Farm Campsite. The boat will leave from the Brunel Quay at the marina (signposted as you get near to it), time to be advised. Look for the PADI sign! Air is available (was £3.50 a fill at last visit). The map shows the boat location. Thanks to Aileen for finding much of this information in our old news pages.
